Department for Employment and Learning
From 9th May 2016 the functions of the Department for Employment and Learning have been transferred to the Department for the Economy.
Department for Regional Development
From the 9th May 2016 the functions of the Department for Regional Development have been transferred to the Department for Infrastructure.
Department for Social Development
From 9th May 2016 the functions of the Department for Social Development have been transferred to the Department for Communities.
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development
From 9th May 2016 the functions of the Department of Agriculture have transferred to the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural affairs.
Department of Culture, Arts & Leisure
From 9th May 2016 the functions of the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure have transferred to the Department for Communities.
Department of Education
From 9th of May 2016 the Department of Education while retaining its name and remit, took on the additional responsibility of higher education.
